| September 25, 2011 Today was long-run day for more than 3,800 finishers at the ING New York City Marathon Tune-Up, who logged 18 miles in Central Park on a warm, humid morning. The runners streamed out in a colorful line over the park's six-mile loop, and though each had his or her individual reason for being there, they had one thing in common at the finish line: the right to proudly enter "18" in their training log for September 25. Winners were Teklu Tefera Deneke (men) in 1:37:43 and Lauren Uhler (women) in 2:04:33.
