At today's race, some wore plaid, while local competitors proudly wore their team names on their chests. Standouts included race winner Kumsa Adugna Megersa of West Side Runners (WSX), who was closely followed by teammates Tesfaye Assefa Dube and Ketema Nigusse; their men's team earned the top spot. New York Athletic Club's Reilly Kiernan led the way for the women, and teammate Rolanda Bell took second. Jane Vongvorachoti of the Central Park Track Club rounded out the top three, taking her women's team to victory with her four fastest teammates.

From the start, WSX teammates paced one another; only seven seconds separated first from third at the finish.
Bernd Weis of Urban Athletics (UATH) finished in 34:56.
Kevin Shelton-Smith of Van Cortland Track Club was the top male 50-54 in 35:20.
Patrick Keane of Witold's Runners finished in 41:52.
Team leader Witold Bialokur's 48:01 was good for first place 75-79.
Hernan Lopez led the Hoboken Harriers in 37:47.
Larry Ikard of Warren Street finished in 39:42.
Michael Samuels of Dashing Whippets Running Team kept 7:05 pace for a strong finish.
John Foster's 41:26 was fourth best for the North Jersey Masters.
UATH's Paul Kavanagh persisted to finish in 43:45.
Albert Chen of Front Runners New York did 10K in 42:32.
John Singer of Rockland Road Runners took fifth in men's 70-74.
Reilly Kiernan's 35:09 was more than a minute ahead of the second-place woman.
But teammate Rolanda Bell's 36:41 was no easy task.
Third-place Vongvorachoti's efforts helped her team take the top spot.
Teammate Yumi Ogita's 39:43 earned her first place in the 45-49 category.
Jane Lundy was the first 50-54 woman in 40:17.
Central Park Track Club was a strong team in many different catergories.
Lauren Perkins of the New York Harriers was the 12th woman across the line.
Corinna Cortes of Running Divas New York helped her team place in the 50+ category.
Greater New York Racing Team's Judy Chen rocked 6:39 pace for a 41:19 finish.
Lara Kail got extra cheers for her team singlet and her plaid skirt.
But she wasn't the only one in plaid, with Jill Staats on the course, too.
Kamalia Somersall of the North Brooklyn Runners finished her 10K for Brooklyn in 53:29.
