| Sunday, June 19 The scent of honeysuckle was in the air in Central park as thousands of runners enjoyed warm but not-too-sticky racing conditions, then relaxed afterward with post-race tropical fruit drinks and pears for refreshment as part of the Portugal Day celebration. Three Portuguese bands--Danca na Eira, Fado, and Andre d'Almeida--performed during the post-race activities at Mineral Springs in the south of the park. |
