| June 11, 2011 The 40th Mini was a celebration of health, fitness, and sisterhood and for women of all ages and backgrounds. This year's race was also a special opportunity for hundreds of local male runners—along with women not competing in the Mini—to show their support in cheering zones set up at each mile marker for representatives of New York-area running clubs. Many thanks to Central Park Track Club New Balance, Warren Street Social & Athletic Club, North Brooklyn Runners, Mercury Masters, Front Runners NY, Taconic Road Runners, Dashing Whippets Running Team, Prospect Park Track Club, New York Harriers, Adobo Social and Athletic Club, New York Flyers, Bridle Path Track Club, and others for their enthusiastic support!
