| May 8, 2011 There was reason to celebrate as runners gathered in New York's Central Park for the Japan Day Run for Hope. Japan Day @ Central Park collected on-site donations to support earthquake and tsunami relief efforts as people from all cultures came together for a common cause. All are welcome to do the 4-Mile Virtual Run/Walk to Benefit Japan on or before May 22; proceeds--and donations on the Crowdrise fundraising platform--will go to the American Red Cross to further help the people of Japan.
