With 17 heats, including the pro races, the Fifth Avenue Mile is a race for runners of all ages and abilities; it's a chance to run your best mile! Today's winners showed what they were made of by sprinting 20 blocks from 80th Street to 60th Street, while being chased by some of the fastest competition in NYC (or in the world, if you include the pro races). Whether they finished in sub-four or seven minutes today, they were all champions. These winners went home feeling proud of their accomplishment, and they should sleep well tonight! |
