| May 21, 2011 Some runners in Saturday’s Brooklyn Half-Marathon chased PRs through the flat, fast final miles, others ticked off race number two in NYRR’s 2011 five borough half-marathon series, and more than a few ran in order to enjoy a post-finish breakfast of beer and hot dogs on the Coney Island Boardwalk. Flashing weary smiles as they crossed the finish line, participants agreed: miss out on the Brooklyn fun? Fuhggedaboudit. |
