| May 21, 2011 Runners gathered in Brooklyn for the second race in NYRR’s five borough half-marathon series. The Brooklyn Half-Marathon course took the sellout crowd over Prospect Park’s rolling hills and pastoral scenery in the first seven miles, then along flat, fast Ocean Parkway for the next six miles, and onto the famed Coney Island Boardwalk for a picturesque finish.
