| February 26, 2011 Thousands of runners lined up in chilly Prospect Park, Brooklyn, to run four miles at the Al Gordon Classic on February 26. The race honors the memory of Gordon, a longtime NYRR board member and benefactor who died in 2009 at age 107--and that's not a typo! The winners were Francis Corrigan in 19:54 for the men, and Betsy Burke in 22:45 for the women. Finishers included hundreds of youngsters from NYRR Youth Programs.
