The seventh annual More® Magazine | Fitness® Magazine Women's Half-Marathon featured a small but talented field of professional athletes and several celebrities on hand to either participate or encourage the runners and walkers from the sidelines. Four winners from The Biggest Loser showed their enthusiasm for running and fitness.

Kristin Davis of Sex and the City, the event's celebrity spokesperson, encouraged participants throughout the race and presented awards afterward.

Top entrants Colleen De Reuck and Sally Meyerhoff took off quickly at the sound of the starting horn.

De Reuck, 46, a four-time Olympian and the reigning USA 20K champion, would finish second in 1:16:26.

Meyerhoff ran a smart, patient race, overtaking De Reuck at nine miles and breaking the tape in an event-record 1:14:40.

It was Meyerhoff's second half-marathon in New York this spring; she finished ninth at the NYC Half on March 21 in 1:13:58.
