Bronx Half-Marathon – Event Gallery

Marathoners-in-training and anyone seeking an opportunity to race or train over 13.1 rolling miles in New York's northernmost borough got a treat on August 15 as pleasant running conditions prevailed for the Bronx Half, the
fourth race in the five-event NYRR Half-Marathon Series Presented by Continental Airlines. The leaders zipped along at a pace not much slower than five minutes per mile, followed by thousands of others, many prepping
for the ING New York City Marathon on November 7, just 12 weeks in the future. The male winner, Christophe Pannone, finished in 1:09:24, and the women's champion, Sally Meyerhoff, ran 1:18:47.
