As luck would have it, the final NYRR cross country race of the year was saturated with rain, muddy puddles, and slippery downhills. The chilly downpour couldn’t keep die-hard XC runners from reveling, child-like, in the mud—274 runners braved the elements and hung on for just over nine miles of hard-core fun. [Results]
