Genna Tufa, also of WTC, ran 1:04:37 to place 13th overall and fourth among NYRR members. The top five NYRR member finishers received prize money. |

Teklu Tefera Deneke of West Side Runners was 23rd overall in a time of 1:07:48… |

…and was closely followed by Deresse Deniboba of WTC, who placed 24th overall in 1:08:04. |
Dereje Hailegiorgis of WSX, who won the Run for Central Park 4-Mile on July 19, was 28th today in a time of 1:09:22.

Manhattan’s Jimmy Lynch was the race’s top masters (40+) finisher; his time was 1:10:44. |
Brooklyn’s Edvard Gapak, a member of Warren Street, ran 1:11:23 to place 39th overall.

Michael Cassidy of Staten Island and the Greater New York Racing Team turned in a solid 1:11:27 performance. |
Coming back strong from an injury, 2007 Fred Lebow Runner of the Year Alemtsehay Misganaw of WTC was the 15th woman finisher, running 1:14:42.

Caroline Bierbaum of the New York Athletic Club ran 1:17:30, a PR, and placed 20th. |

Muluye Lemma Gurmu of WSX was 23rd in an excellent time of 1:19:48. |

Manhattanite Eileen Patrick placed first among local masters runners. Her time of 1:23:02… |

…put her just one overall place ahead of Jill Vollweiler, 40, of the Nike Central Park Track Club, who ran 1:23:19. |

Like many NYC Half finishers, NYAC’s Arianne Field is training for the ING New York City Marathon. She finished in 1:25:18 today. |

Shannon Duff, of Greenwich, CT, and WTC, ran 1:26:10. |

Manhattan’s Katie Casto, a member of CPTC, had a strong 1:26:55 finish. |

WTC’s Cindy Pomeroy, of Windsor Locks, CT, has finished all three editions of the NYC Half. Today she ran 1:28:31 to top the 45-49 age group. |

Hermela Romero, of Guttenberg, NJ, and WSX, ran 1:34:48. |
