The NYRR club-points series ended fittingly at this early-December 10K in Central Park: Both of the teams leading the open divisions before the race won their finales as well.  The women of the New York Athletic Club (NYAC) narrowly defeated their archrival, the Central Park Track Club (CPTC).  In the men’s race, the West Side Runners (WSX) easily defeated NYAC (second) and CPTC (third); CPTC and the Greater New York Racing Team finished second and third for the year. Masters’ (age 40+) titles were won by the men of the Warren Street Social & Athletic Club (WS) and the Running Divas New York women, both of whom also won their yearly contests.
