24/M, Upper East Side, looking for a male or a female running partner to run with a few days a week. I run every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, with occasional Wednesdays and Sundays. Right now I stick to Central Park, but I want to check out the East River Promenade, and maybe the Hudson too. During the week I'm at 4 miles at a 7:30-8:00 minute pace, but I need to slow down to prepare for a half-marathon, so a buddy to help with pacing would be nice. Longer distances on Saturdays, like 5-7 miles. I'm looking to get into decent 5k race shape (which means eventual interval and tempo pace workouts) and look forward to tackling half marathons in the near future, and eventually a full marathon. To motivate and compete with each.
