The program will guide both first-time and experienced marathoners through their crucial last month of marathon training.

Join us at this event, led by physicians, physiologists, and nutritionists from the Sports Medicine and Shoulder Service, the Sports Rehabilitation and Performance Center, and the Womens Sports Medicine Center at HSS including:

Jordan Metzl, MD

Brian Halpern, MD

Polly deMille RN, RCEP, CSCS

Heidi Skolnik, MS, CDN, FACSM

Many of these experts are themselves avid and committed marathon runners/triathletes.

The Sports Medicine and Shoulder Service at HSS is one of the oldest, largest, and most highly respected departments in the field, performing over 8,500 surgeries per year, including more than 1,000 ACL reconstructions. The Sports Rehabilitation and Performance Center is composed of experienced physical therapists, exercise physiologists, athletic trainers, and massage therapists who offer individualized, evidence-based treatment regimens developed through a supportive team approach, as well as state-of-the-art equipment.
