Application Instructions
The non-guaranteed entry application for the 2012 NYC Half is now closed. The field of approximately 15,000 runners consists of non-guaranteed entrants drawn from three categories (NYC-metro area, national and international) and guaranteed entrants from five groups: charity entrants, entrants who qualify with a fast time, entrants through an International Travel Partner, entrants through our official National Travel Partner (Anthony Travel, Inc.), and entrants who are NYRR members who ran four of the five NYRR Half-Marathons in 2011.
Please visit the Charities page to apply for guaranteed entry through an official NYC Half charity. Entry is available through International Travel Partners in some non-U.S. countries..
Anyone who has applied for NYRR membership or has applied to the Empire State Building Rup-Up, ING New York City Marathon, or NYC Half in since 2006 should have a username and password on file. If you've forgotten your username and password, e-mail reghelp@nyrr.org.
