Born in Brooklyn, Harry Murphy (1914-1993) co-founded the Prospect Park
Track Club in 1970 and mentored scores of local runners. Celebrate his
influence on the sport as you zip along the scenic trails of Van Cortlandt
Park.
Sign in at the Tortoise and Hare statue, 248th Street and Broadway. Bathroom facilities are available here. Number pickup and registration will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

By subway: Take the northbound IRT #1 train to 242nd Street (the last stop). Exit at the front of the station and walk north. If traveling by bus or subway, check www.mta.info for any service advisories affecting your plans.
By car: Take the Major Deegan to the Van Cortlandt Park South exit. Drive west to Broadway, and then north to 252nd Street. Park on Broadway (please do not double park). For a minimal fee, additional parking is available in the parking lot behind the stadium, by the Van Cortlandt Park South exit.

Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers and to places 1-3 in the following age groups: 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80+.

The Lost and Found is located in the volunteer tent on race day. Items can also be turned-in or claimed at NYRR's front desk on the next business day following the race.
All NYRR races are organized and directed under USA Track & Field rules and regulations. Entrants must also comply with City of New York, Parks & Recreation and NYRR rules.
